The development and implementation of a system to monitor the outcomes for clients who have participated in addictions treatment services in Ontario.

How will this project benefit Ontario?

Monitoring the recovery of clients is an important part of assessing the performance of the Ontario substance use treatment system and of planning enhancements to improve treatment quality and build capacity. This project will develop and pilot an evidence-based protocol for recovery monitoring to determine the feasibility of implementing a recovery monitoring system forOntario. Overall, the results are expected to make an important contribution toCanada’s National Treatment Strategy.
